Resetting Iridium Handset to Factory Defaults


1.) Resetting to defaults:  Menu-> Setup-> Scroll all the way down to “Reset to defaults”, and confirm.


2.) Reset the phonebook by entering the following code on the main screen: *#323# (The phone should reboot and come back to the main screen).


3.) Clear out any stored Test messages by:
Menu -> Messages -> Inbox -> Options -> Delete All


4.) Do the same for

  Menu -> Messages -> Outbox -> Options -> Delete All

     and

  Menu -> Messages -> Drafts -> Options -> Delete All



5.) Service center number needs to read the proper digits.

  Menu -> Messages -> Settings -> Service Center

  This number should Read +881662900005 or 00881662900005. Make sure to press “OK” to leave this screen, and not clear.


Note: If you are using a Pivotel SIM card with the phone, follow the USA SIM card Quick Start instructions for proper Voicemail and SMS Service Center number settings.
