How do I replace the Bullet M2-Ti?
If you need to replace the Bullet, here are the steps needed:

Here is the information to replace the Bullet on your Wirie AP+/pro.

Step 1: Remove the existing Bullet from the waterproof enclosure:

1) Open the waterproof enclosure.
2) Loosen the big black nut on the inside that attaches the Bullet to the enclosure. Try to keep the Bullet in the same orientation when doing this (do not twist the Bullet if possible). If the Bullet is turned too far it may damage the Ethernet cable. Slide the nut down the Ethernet cable.
3) Pull the Bullet away from the enclosure at the top, keeping it aligned the same way.
4) Once you have it clear from the enclosure, unscrew the black plastic base from the Bullet. Once this is removed you can access and disconnect the Ethernet cable.
5) Remove the black base and the black nut from the Ethernet cable.

Step 2: Install the new Bullet onto the waterproof enclosure:

You can purchase a new Bullet M2 Titanium device and install our firmware over the existing AirOS firmware.  If you an unfamiliar with how to install firmware onto AirOS, we would recommend enlisting the help of someone else. You can find the needed firmware here: Bullet M2-Ti Factory Firmware Upgrade. The firmware should be installed before installation into The Wirie enclosure.

Leave the Ethernet cable disconnected for now, inside the enclosure.

1) Put the Bullet black base through the bracket.
2) Put the Bullet black base through enclosure and attach the big nut on the inside. There is a gasket on the perimeter of the black base of the Bullet that will seal against the enclosure.
3) Tighten the nut hand tight, then use a wrench and give it another
1/2 turn and confirm is it on tight. The text on the Bullet should be facing forward.
4) Connect the Ethernet cable by inserting it through the bottom of the nut inside the enclosure up to the Bullet. The tab on the Ethernet cable should be facing forward, and it needs to click into place. Confirm it is inserted correctly by giving the Ethernet cable a slight tug. It should not come out and should remain inserted into the Bullet.

We recommend removing all the electronics inside the enclosure (except the Ethernet cables) and water-testing the top of the enclosure to make sure it is sealed properly. If there is any water at all under the black gasket material, please check the mounting of the Bullet and re-secure the nut to eliminate any leaks.
